char is short for character - which is basically text
char is used as a data type in C - it is one byte and i think char is helping people digest information in bite sizes
yujong and i are engineers (some might argue i’m not one but i consider myself as one) so we like this quirky name
also our product is a notepad/taker which captures “words”

ngl people try to sound way too smart. i was standing in the elevator on my way to the office and heard some people talking. they were trying too hard to sound professional which was actually cringe af. i don’t know if this only a thing in korea but it sure made me think boy those fellas are going to get crushed over the next 5 years.
